Doubt

Hello, Civilla Morgan here! Welcome to episode 08 of the Not Just Another Religion and Politics Podcast! Thank you for tuning in! So here’s the deal:

I want this podcast to speak to people, not yell at people. Whether you are a Believer or not, a Christian or not, I want this podcast to be so plain in its language, that even if you have never stepped foot in a church, you will get this. You will get who Jesus is, and you will get what relationship with Him could be like, despite what people--Christians and non-Christians, try to do to get you to turn your back. Come along with me. I promise it will be a really cool experience!

Guest intro:

Justin McNeil is an Associate Pastor at City of Life Church, Kissimmee, FL. He and his wife of almost 10 years, Pastor Amanda McNeil, have led various ministries such as students, small groups, and launching new church locations. He is a life coach, counselor, teacher, and holds a Ph.D. in Pastoral Theology. He is the proud father of Malachi, a 4-year-old miracle.

Pastor Justin has an exceptional gift to teach the Word of God in a creative and clear way that captures listeners of various life stages. He aims to use his unique voice and creativity to inspire believers to live with enthusiasm, to discover the power of God’s word, and to show love to everyone.

Discussing doubt:

So if there is an ebb and flow, is doubt natural? And if so, why did Jesus berate Peter?

Scriptures mentioned by our guest:

  • Matthew 14:25-
  • Verse 28-30
  • Mark 9--’Lord I believe, help my unbelief’
